My story

We are taking on 70K in May!

Our brave team of fundraisers are rising to the challenge to help communities fight the climate crisis in solidarity with millions of people who have to walk long distances for clean water or to sell their produce.   Our team are - WALKING, locally and round the Isle of Wight (110 km), CYCLING (the distance from Romaby to Paris - 834km), and SWIMMING  (70k = 2,800 lengths) to achieve our targets, with your support, many times over!

Your donation will encourage us along the way, and will be put to such good use in Christian Aid's work to help the most in need push back against poverty and make a future for their families.

People like like Aurelia, in Guatemala, who are battling extreme weather, but with Christian Aid’s support, they’re learning skills to protect their farms and provide for their families.

Just £20 could buy two pounds of climate-resilient seeds, diversifying a family’s crop and increasing resilience against the effects of the climate crisis.

THANK YOU, SO MUCH!

First donation received!

Congratulations! This activity has received its first donation!

How your money helps

This Christian Aid Week, you can support communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis.

In places like Guatemala, extreme weather is destroying crops, deepening hunger and threatening livelihoods. But with the right tools and training, farmers can build sustainable futures.

Every pound you raise could help:

  • Provide climate-resilient seeds to help families grow food.
  • Fund water conservation techniques to protect crops.
  • Support vital training so farmers can build a sustainable future.
