Across Loughborough a supporters group promotes the work of Christian Aid, especially each May during Christian Aid Week.

This year the national campaign focus is on subsistance farmers in Malawi who grow food to feed their families and sell what is left over at local markets.  This is highly precarious added to which the effects of climate change, flooding and drought can mean that farmers are not able to grow enough food.

Families are loosing out and can face the heart-breaking choice of which child to educate and which one will miss out on their dreams when no hardworking young person should be forced to give up on education, locking them into poverty.

Christian Aid dreams of a better world where every child is able to have the education they need to break free of poverty. Also we imagine a future where crops are not flattened by cyclones and washed away by floods.

With your help, Christian Aid can make dreams come true around the world. We won’t stop until everyone can live a full life, free from poverty.

Thank you on behalf of those whose lives will be changed by your donation.
