As we have stopped doing house to house collections around the Benefice we decided to hold a Simple Soup Supper to reflect the way the community in Malawi featured in this year’s campaign use Pigeon Peas for nutritious meals. The peas help to improve the soil and are easy to grow in a tropical climate. We used asparagus, carrots and chickpeas for our soups  - ingredients that are easy for us to grow or obtain.

For those of you who missed the supper, we are having collections at the services on Sunday but we are also sending this electronic envelope to the churches in the Benefice - just click on it and make your donation.
This is an easy way to support Christian Aid so please be generous!
