No mother should have the heart-breaking choice of which child to educate and which one will miss out on their dreams. No hardworking young person should be forced to give up on education, locking them into poverty. But in rural Malawi, where Jen and her husband grow pigeon peas, people struggle with the effects of the climate crisis. The rainfall is unreliable, and there are more storms, flooding and stronger winds. Rising costs mean one of two sons who have won college places may miss out.

Your gift could help famers like Jen plant better seeds, secure a fairer price for their crops, and build happier futures for their children.

Together, through Christian Aid, we can help people secure a better future for their families, giving them the chance to live a full life, free from poverty. We can act for a future where crops are not flattened by cyclones and washed away by floods.
